The Oklahoma Indian Child Welfare Association, Inc. (OICWA) holds a Regular meeting once every
three months to conduct business. These quarterly meetings are hosted by members of the Association and
are scheduled by the President with the Association prior to the adjournment of regular meetings. Special
meetings of OICWA are held to conduct business between regular quarterly meetings when necessary.
The 3rd quarterly meeting of each calendar year is designated as the Annual meeting, during which a State
of the Association report is made by the President and an annual financial report is made by the Treasurer.
Election of Officers are conducted at the Annual meeting of each even numbered year.
All Regular and Special meetings of OICWA require the establishment of a quorum of Members before
business is considered official. A quorum is established by the presence of two (2) officers and eight (8)
members. All meetings of OICWA are open to the public.
For more information on OICWA meetings and current activities and projects, Contact OICWA. Meetings
are conducted in accordance with Article IX of the Bylaws of OICWA.
