Choogie Kingfisher (Ketoowah Band of Cherokees) is a noted
storyteller, flute maker, and keeper of traditional knowledge. He recently
was a presenter and panelist at the Five Tribes Story Conference and
has traveled throughout the United States and abroad, sharing his
stories and knowledge of his tribal way of life. He has shared his
knowledge with adults and children of all ages. He has also worked in
the past for Cherokee Nation as a cultural specialist as well as the United
Keetowah Band of Cherokees.
