TARA GRAGG - MEMBER AT LARGE

 

Tara Gragg is the Indian Child Welfare Supervisor for the Wyandotte Nation.  She is a Wyandotte Nation tribal member and is very proud to serve her tribe.  Tara has developed Policy and Procedure for the Wyandotte Nation ICW Program and has developed a Foster Care Program for the tribe.  Tara has also worked for OKDHS in Child Welfare and School Based Social work and has a combined 24 years of experience.  She graduated from Northeastern State University with a Bachelor of Social Work Degree in 2000.  Tara lives in Miami, Oklahoma with her husband of 24 years and their three children.  The family served as an OKDHS foster family for 4 years and plan to do so again in the future.  

 

Tara has been an active member of OICWA representing the Wyandotte Nation for 12 years.  She has served on the Public Relations Committee and the Conference Committee for several years.  Tara now serves as the Vice-Chair of the Northeast Tribal Child Protection Team and has been a member of the team for 12 years. Tara has also been a member of NICWA for 12 years. She has served as Treasurer for “Man Up/My Life” in Miami, OK for the last 5 years and also served on the board for Partners for Ottawa County Youth in Miami, OK in the early 2000’s.
