Purpose of Financial Assistance:
The Oklahoma Indian Child Welfare Association (OICWA) is committed to ensuring that professionals serving Native children and families have access to high-quality training, resources, and opportunities to strengthen their knowledge and practice related to the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA), Tribal sovereignty, and culturally responsive child welfare.
Scholarship assistance is available to Oklahoma Tribal Child Welfare Workers, Oklahoma Department of Human Services front-line workers, and court professionals serving Tulsa County who would otherwise experience a financial barrier to attending the 2026 OICWA Annual Conference.
Scholarship support will cover conference registration valued at $350. Scholarship recipients must be able to commit to attending all three days of the conference, Monday, November 2 through Wednesday, November 4, 2026. Lodging, per diem, and mileage is not included and the responsibility of the recipient.
